Hi, I’m Lisa.
The career
For thirty years, I built billion-dollar brands in healthcare, leading marketing and customer experience at Fortune 500 companies. I was named 2021 U.S. Brand Leader of the Year, and I was often one of the only women at the table. I still talk with younger women fighting for that same seat and the same voice in the room. We’re not there yet.
I built teams the same way. I trusted people, let them stretch and make mistakes, and had their backs. Coaching and mentoring them was how I gave back.
And I did it the nice way. Grit, hard work, never giving up. It works.
The turn
No regrets. But after thirty years of 20-hour days, there wasn’t much left of me.
Then Gracie showed up. I think my mom sent her. She always asked, “If not now, when?” So I went.
The first half of my life was about the climb. The second half is about what the climb left out: people, community, love. This time, I’m building my own.

Gracie Soleil (Soh-LAY, French for “sun”) is a blue merle Mini Bernedoodle who gets me out the door before I’ve decided how I feel about the day. She also thinks she’s the talent. She’s right. Official title: Chief Sun Officer. Duties: naps, snacks and approving all content.
